1973 Electronic Sounds UFO FuzzMan Vintage Electric Guitar Effects Pedal – Gary Hurst Design for CBS / ARBITER Fuzz King Rare FuzzTone Made in Italy

– For your consideration is this vintage 1973 Electronic Sounds UFO FuzzMan effects pedal.
– Designed by Gary Hurst, the inventor of the Tone Bender, this ’70s blue plastic fuzztone was assembled in Italy as a “pedale distorsore” or “distortion pedal”.
– This exact pedal was also released as; a white plastic pedal labeled ” Fuzz King” distributed by CBS / Arbiter, as well as, a black plastic pedal labeled as “Fuzz King” licensed under Electronic Sounds. As previously mentioned, this version is the “UFO FuzzMan” as also sold by Electronic Sounds, however, it is missing the front badge which is a notorious defect as the adhesive commonly dries and the plate falls off. Although all aforementioned versions of this fuzz pedal feature a different color exterior, they share the exact same molded ABS plastic enclosure and an identical circuit within.
– Aside from the missing name plate, it is otherwise a very excellent example. Retaining all original rubber feet, the battery compartment door, and all (3) original control knobs.
– The circuit is comprised of (4) BC413 transistors, which produces a huge wall of lush and harmonic distortion.
