– For your consideration is this vintage 1977 Suzuki DN-88 acoustic guitar.
– This particular lawsuit era example, serial number 70117, is in very nice all original condition and includes the original hard case.
– Clearly inspired by a quirky combination of Martin dreadnought features, this rare MIJ guitar is from an unique era of Japanese building; where manufacturers considered their Japanese made nearly identical counterparts to existing American models to be comparable in quality.
– The 3-piece back sports a rather untraditional rosewood-maple-rosewood fan.
– Very clean and with no structural issues, this is a fantastic guitar for the price and a total bargain.
– The original tortoise truss rod cover has gassed slightly, oxidizing the original truss rod screws.
– Neck measurements: 1.697″ nut width, .868″ neck depth at 1st fret, .979″ depth at 12th fret
