– This example was professionally re-wound many years ago, while of course retaining original black bobbins, pole pieces, and cloth wire leads.
– There are many experts that could offer a more accurate looking re-wind, however, since the pickup sounded amazing in the guitar we opted to leave it rather than re-wind to make the windings and wiring look vintage correct.
– It measures 6.490 kOhm, which is the highest of the (3) matching pickups removed from the same Strat: likely wound specifically for the bridge position.
