– For your consideration is this used 2000 Fender Precision Bass ’57 vintage reissue maple neck.
– This “genuine replacement” P Bass neck is an original Made in USA factory neck sold as a replacement part. Specifically, this is a ’57 P Bass neck as designated by the spaghetti pre-CBS reissue logo, which does not stipulate “Precision Bass.” For whatever reason, this is how Fender issued the replacement P Bass necks.
– This example has undersized, Mustang Bass style, tuning machines installed. Proper P Bass tuners would conceal this non-original set of holes. The original pre-drilled holes for the tuners have never been utilized. Neck will include the ferrules.
– There is a chalky gray paint-like substance splattered all over the neck, it comes off without issue and without much effort, but we have left it alone for the time being. If the buyer would prefer we removed this gray paint, we could accommodate removal for no additional charge.
– The neck does not have a string tree.
– Neck measurements: .826″ depth at 1st fret, .923″ depth at 12th fret, 1.770″ nut width
– Weight: 2.4 lbs. (with tuners and ferrules as pictured)
