– For your consideration is this vintage 1964 Martin D-28 dreadnought acoustic guitar with original hard case.
– This wonderful sounding all original example, serial number 194058, is absolutely crack fee and features stunning Brazilian rosewood back and sides.
– A beautiful structurally perfect specimen, it also happens to sound fantastic: perhaps one of the best sounding ’60s Brazilian rosewood Martin acoustics I’ve heard in quite some time.
– Recently purchased from a long time owner, it also includes some Martin string packets as case candy. At some point several decades ago, the previous owner installed an under-the-saddle transducer pickup under the bridge which necessitated an output jack through the end pin. Rather uninvasive, this can be restored by simply removing the pickup and jack, and reinstalling the original end pin which is included. A non-original strap pin was also professionally installed in the neck heel. It appears 4 of the original 6 bridge pins were preserved, while 2 have gone missing. The current bridge pins are non-original vintage spec. replacements and look the part.
