– For your consideration is this vintage 1969 Teisco Del Rey ET-440 Spectrum 4 electric solidbody guitar.
– This player’s example is in good overall condition with a series of non-original mods which make it both more affordable and a bit more fun. The bridge has been upgraded to a modern compensated roller, the vibrato tailpiece has been replaced, one slider switch has been replaced with a mini toggle, the 3-way switch has replaced with a push button, and the tuning machines were replaced with similar MIJ tuners. It is otherwise original with no breaks, no cracks, and no repairs to the body or neck.
– It’s a hot rod of a guitar, feels good, sounds great and a perfect candidate for future personalization.
– All 4 pickups are nicely matched, measuring: 5.44 kOhm, 5.13 kOhm, 5.39 kOhm, 5.37 kOhm (in order from neck to bridge)
– Neck measurements: 1.663″ nut width, 1.014″ depth at 1st fret, 1.132″ depth at 12th fret.
– Weight:6.8 lbs.
