– For your consideration is this vintage 1979 Gentle Electric Model 101 pitch & envelope follower unit.
– This super rare analog synth module is 1 of 200 total units made by Gentle Electric between 1977-1986.
– This particular example was previously owned by Audio Rents since new. Their tech modified by adding both mic and line XLR inputs, along with a corresponding “pre amp” and “line in” mini toggle on the front panel.
– This unit does not have side panels mounted: both rackmount and non rackmount side panels seemed optional.

    FEATURES INCLUDE
– 1Volt/Octave CV outputs (trimmable on the front panel)
– Both Linear and Log Envelope CV outputs
– Gate and Trigger (Retrigger level control on panel) outputs
– Mic and Line Inputs (the preamp has an output as well)
– Hold function can be select by a switch, a foot pedal, or by incoming CV
– There is a built-in compressor…which kill all dynamics, and output 10V peak to peak. Very cool with drum machines, or feedback, etc.
– There is a special Audio Pulse Wave output, which is determined by the fundamental of the incoming frequency, it’s Pulse Width is relative to the incoming signal. Very nice for signal doubling effects

– Original owner’s manual can be found here.
